CUSTOM COLLABORATION with ENBRIDGE
Geoff Connors, Founder/Owner of PipeSak, has collaborated with Enbridge engineers to design a custom bag weight with specific characteristics to solve the buoyancy issues for a "deep trench" application on a particularly difficult section of their 30" Wood Buffalo Pipeline. PipeSak's Canadian distributor, Proline Pipe Equipment of Edmonton AB., worked with the contractor Michels Pipeline to arrange purchase, filling and delivery of the unique bag weights. Both Enbridge and Michels were very pleased with the results. Mr. Connors is presently co-authoring a case study of the project with Enbridge personnel. |
