PipeSak has completed the weighting for the largest natural gas pipeline ever built in the western hemisphere - the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) 56" Cross Island Pipeline Project. The contractor, Bechtel International, utilized custom designed NPS56 PipeSaks and filled them iron ore to reach a total filled weight of over 14,250 lbs per PipeSak! The NPS56 PipeSaks were engineered with a fill capacity of only 9000 lbs. The high quality materials and superior manufacturing techniques utilized by PipeSak Inc. combined with a minimum 4 times safety factor allowed Bechtel to fill the 9000 lb bag with 14,250 lbs of iron ore!
