2009 RIO PIPELINE CONFERENCE & EXPOSITION

The PipeSak booth, located in the Canadian Pavillion, saw a record amount of interest at this year's exposition. The highlight came on the second day, when engineers from the Brazilian pipeline giant Petrobras gave a presentation praising the innovation, efficiency and cost effectiveness of using the PipeSak brand aggregate weight over concrete. Their presentation was inspired by their positive experiences using PipeSaks on three different Petrobras projects: the Urucu Manaus, GASCAV, & GASCAC projects. In closing, Petrobras stated that when buoyancy control encompasses such importance, the economical and financial benefits of PipeSak become highly attractive points for future projects.
